Established in the last quarter of 2013, MHS has started its activities with metallic ore trading. In its third year since establishment, it has become one of Turkey’s largest chrome ore exporters. The company, which purchased its first mining license in Adıyaman in 2017, has been operating the allocated underground mines since 2019.

MHS undertakes an important mission for Turkey’s chrome ore exports as the gateway for chrome producers who want to expand to international markets. In addition, it is a key player in the Turkish chrome market thanks to its financial and operational competence.
On top of its production and trading activities, it also provides consultancy services -such as asset sales, share sales and mergers&acquisitions- to mining companies and acts as a bridge between foreign investors who want to participate in the developing Turkish economy.
For instance, MHS guided one of China’s largest stainless steel producers in their bid to buy several chrome ore mining permits. The purchase, then, has become the largest Chinese state-led investment in Turkey. MHS took up the project manager role and had played a significant role throughout.
Also, it played a crucial role in the purchase of chrome licenses in Turkey, made by one of the world’s largest funds, and took part as the managing partner.
MHS, has also undertaken numerous mergers&acquisitions and consultancy roles at various scales.
The amount of foreign direct investment brought to Turkey by MHS Mining organizations -in the field of chrome ore alone- is around USD 500 millions.
