Our lumpy chrome ore production and production preparation activities continue uninterruptedly in 12 underground mines within the total license area of 2,553.37 hectares of our Adıyaman fields. In the semi-mechanised mines, the cut-and-fill (undergrid) method is applied as the production method.

In the light of surface and underground drilling, survey and feasibility studies, more production pits are expected to put in operation for Chrome ore mining. A total of 21.000 metres of core drilling has been carried out by the end of December 2023 (including 15.000 meters of surface and 6.000 meters of underground drilling) and reserves are proven to be operated for many years.

At MHS mines, chrome ore can be produced with an average grade of 40-48% Cr2O3. Run-of-mine ore is transported to the MHS Mersin Export Warehouse, located 366 km southwest of the mine site.
